Growing Logistics Brokerage firm seeking Full-Time Bilingual English/Spanish Trucking/Brokerage Dispatcher.
IMPORTANT:
This IS NOT a 9-5 job but rather a full-time career. As with any career, in order to be successful, you must put in the hours. Though you will work daytime hours, you will be REQUIRED to work overtime as dictated by the day. Though your end time will vary, a good rule of thumb to plan is 7:30 am - 7:30 pm. If you are unable to commit to these hours, please do not bother sending your Resume. This is a fast-paced, growing business. Responsibilities:
This position will dispatch truck drivers for deliveries to customers and provide necessary communications to complete the task.
Preferred candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED, have several years experience in the trucking industry. Candidates must also be willing to work extended hours as needed, be computer literate and possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. You will be working direct with the lead dispatcher and Agent.
BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A MUST!
Job Requirements:
Schedule Monday - Friday - Full-Time with REQUIRED Over-Time.
Dispatch Carriers to satisfy Customer loads.
The ability to follow through the steps of dispatching orders, and assuring the loads are delivered on time every time which includes constant communication and coordination with the drivers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while under pressure is a MUST.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficiency in MS Office
Compensation:
$15.00 per hour (Over-Time paid at time and a half.)
Paid Holiday, Vacation and Sick Time and 401-K after 90-day Probationary Period
