We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Website Developer with strong SEO expertise to assist on a piecework/temporary basis. This role will focus on troubleshooting site issues, coding fixes, performance optimization, and advising ownership on best practices for website management and search engine optimization.
Scope of Work May Include:
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within WordPress
Implementing and optimizing with Oxygen Builder, SEO Press, W3 Total Cache, Simple Site Map, and related tools
Revising and improving Meta Tags, Meta Descriptions, and targeted keyword usage
Content optimization and content strategy to improve search performance
Addressing Google Ads and AdWords integration issues
Link-building initiatives and improving organic search rankings
Providing guidance on industry best practices, algorithm updates, and performance tracking
Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise with WordPress and Oxygen Builder
Strong working knowledge of SEO tools, techniques, and current algorithm best practices
Experience with SEO Press, W3 Total Cache, Simple Site Map (and similar plugins)
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Ads
Strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO strategies
Proven track record of improving site rankings and driving search traffic
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines
Must be located in or near the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area for occasional in-person collaboration
Compensation:
This is a piecework/temporary position – payment will be based on project scope and deliverables.
