U.S. Residency Required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Coordinate with JMT & client to establish project goals and objectives.
Manage Work Authorization.
Work with other consultants and TxDOT staff on various work assignments.
Coordinate with project stake holders to deliver program.
Track monthly budgets.
Prepare financial reports to project cash flow expenditures.
Provide support on Pre-procurement and Procurement a ctivities for one or more TxDOT Alternative Delivery Design Build Projects.
Nonessential functions and responsibilities:
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program.
5+ years of experience on TxDOT Design Build Projects.
Proficient in discipline specific design software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Written and communication skills.
Qualifications Preferred
Professional Engineer License
Experience working with local clients at the state and federal level.
Working ConditionsThis position will be a hybrid opportunity-working both at a JMT office and at the client site. Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.Field work is required on occasions where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
