Position Summary:
Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement.
Essential Functions:
1. Maintains constant surveillance of the pool area.
2. Maintains the safety of patrons in and around the pool.
3. Communicate and enforce all regulations and pool rules in a personable and professional manner.
4. Remain alert and use all senses while guarding.
5. Be able to respond to emergency and contact/activate EMS.
6. Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the pool area.
7. Responsible for the upkeep of the pool area and equipment and notifying supervisor of any needed repairs or adjustments.
8. Responsible for verifying attendants are registered community homeowners.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Pool Attendant would be sitting or standing during their entire shift of work. Exposure to some chemicals; hot humid environment
Minimum Requirements
1. Minimum age of 16 years.
2. CPR and Lifeguard training, a plus
