Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Temple, TX. This role involves operating sit-down propane forklifts and assisting with various warehouse tasks. The operator will be responsible for pallet and case picking, utilizing a stretch machine, and ensuring safety protocols are followed when working at heights.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday:
1 Forklift Operator: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
2 Forklift Operators: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday (with rotating Mondays):
1 Forklift Operator: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
2 Forklift Operators: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down propane forklifts safely and efficiently.
Perform pallet and case picking tasks.
Utilize a stretch machine for loading and unloading materials.
Pull orders from upper shelves using crown forklifts (harnessed for safety).
Maintain accurate inventory records using scanning technology.
Adhere to all safety regulations and warehouse protocols.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
Knowledge of scanners and basic warehouse operations.
Ability to work safely at heights.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
