Hood cleaners clean the grease of the cooking exhaust systems of commercial kitchens. They work mostly at night after facilities are closed. They work outside, on the roof of buildings, as well as inside the kitchen. They oftentimes work alone and must be able to interact professionally with restaurant management and staff.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time, mostly nights position, 5 days a week, Monday - Friday or weekends, for up to 15 to 20 hours' worth of work. Each job takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete. A hood cleaner is expected to do at least one job a night.
We will train the right person looking to make a long term commitment to grow with our company. Hood cleaning experience is not needed.
Applicants must fulfill the following minimum criteria:
1. Be physically able to climb ladders and work outside at night.
2. Possess a valid driver's license and have valid vehicle insurance.
3. Possess a cell phone.
4. Be able to use a pressure washer.
5. Must be able to pass a background check to gain access to facilities.
