Landscape Construction and Maintenance Drivers Needed
Heart of Texas Landscape & Irrigation is a locally owned and operated business that has serviced Bell County and its surrounding cities for over 35 years. We are looking to hire Landscape Construction and Maintenance Drivers to fill immediate, full-time positions.
Qualifications Include:
· Driver’s license with a clean driving record
· 3 years of driving experience preferred (must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes)
· Willing to undergo a background check after position is offered.
· Must be able to safely operate various vehicles, with or without trailers
· Ability to work outside in extreme conditions (hot, cold, etc.) 10 hours a day
· Some experience in landscape construction or landscape maintenance helpful
Job Duties/Responsibilities Include:
· Drive crews to designated locations while pulling a trailer
· Secure all equipment onto trucks/trailers
· Maintain vehicle and equipment through cleanliness and safety
· Be detail oriented with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in an effort to stay on schedule
· Be able to perform basic landscaping construction duties such as: laying sod, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, trenching, cleaning up debris, installing trees and shrubs
· Be able to perform general maintenance duties such as mowing, blowing, edging, trimming, and installing plant and mulch materials
· Be able to safely operate and maintain light/heavy equipment such as: hand tools, tractors, trenchers, skid steers, mowers and other twin axle vehicles
· Ability to complete landscape maintenance and construction tasks by following clear written and verbal instructions
Pay Offered:
· This is an immediate full-time position with room for growth.
· Starting pay is $16+ an hour (commensurate with experience) for applicants with a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
