Please read the entire ad before you contact me. Hill Country Pressure Washing and Carpet Cleaning is looking for an assistant/apprentice. I am looking for someone who lives in or near Burnet or Marble Falls preferably. No experience is required. I didn't have any when I started this business. You should look at our website before you call me and also, there are videos on YouTube that show us working. (just look for Hill Country Pressure Washing on YouTube and Google to find us.) This is one of the things I need someone to help me with. I want to grow our YouTube channel and even a Facebook page to help in getting our brand out there! If you can edit videos and pictures and also help to connect all of the various platforms out there to help increase sales, then I would like to talk to you. I also need help in organizing flyers and post cards to send out in bundles at the post office and sometimes I just need someone to bounce ideas off of and "brainstorm" with. There is a lot to do and although I have several people involved in helping in different ways, I don't feel that any of them actually "care" about Hill Country Pressure Washing and are really dedicated to helping it grow into something even bigger in the years to come. This year was our biggest and I know that with the right person, we can kick some serious butt! The job is part-time (although we can get really busy) and it pays $15.00 an hour to start. My goal is to find someone who can learn my techniques and develop the skills to run the business when I'm ready, to hand over the reigns to someone else to run things for me. My son would have been the one to do that, but he died in 2019. I'm not trying to replace him, but I also don't want big brother to take what I have built when I'm gone either. I'd rather leave it to someone who gives a crap about the business. If you sound like a "low energy" voice on the phone, I will probably not be motivated to hire you, but if you sound bright and energetic you will at least have my attention. I will also tell you this little secrete that I have learned; you don't have to be qualified to do any specialized work in order to hire people who do have the skills to do the job I just made $2,000 for one day's work on a job and I never lifted a finger. One other thing; I work from a mobile unit and my office is at my home. I hired a girl to revamp my website and although I like her work, she has another job at the bank and she works on her husband's social media as well so she is spread too thin and because she is married, she has to meet me at coffee shops and at the laundry mat for the free wi-fi because her husband doesn't want her to meet a man at his home even though this is where my office is. I have done this a couple of times, but I'm not willing to do it any more. I have a home office and this is where I work and so will you if you want to take on the job. I also hired a guy to do the pressure washing work, but he demanded more money than the ad stated and I felt that he was too greedy so I'm still looking to fill that position as well and part of what I need you for is to help me with making a good choice with that as well.
