FIRE SAFETY SUPPLY, INC. is looking to hire a full time Warehouse Clerk/Driver to join our team.
About us:
Fire Safety Supply specializes in fire suppression products including restaurant, industrial dry chemical, high and low pressure C0/2, vehicle, and clean agent. We are a family-owned business and have top-notch factory trained personnel for every product line we distribute.
Warehouse Duties
Shipping/receiving and load delivery trucks
Data Entry
Ensure incoming product counts are accurate and product is in good condition.
Perform cycle counts as directed by Inventory Specialist and work to resolve discrepancies.
Operate forklift, when needed
Delivery Driver Duties:
Deliver product throughout central Texas (San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Austin)
Plan route in advance to be as efficient as possible
Safely and efficiently load and unload product
Represent Fire Safety Supply in a professional and thoughtful manner
Experience is not required. However, we are looking for someone who:
Has proven customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Has excellent organizational, math, and grammar skills
Has strong typing and computer skills
QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
Pays attention to detail
Can work along-side coworkers at all levels of the company
Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
On Delivery days start time varies depending on the stops but is usually 5:30 am. A Clean DMV record is a must. Company vehicle provided. Class C license needed.
