HEAT TREAT HELPER
Role and Responsibilities
Fill in where needed in either Heat Treat or Shot Blast roles
Heat treat castings per work order requirements
Check hardness of castings when required using appropriate equipment
Maintain heat treat charts/log and other paperwork as required
Shot blasts each casting after it has been poured
Stamp the proper information onto each casting as required
Measure the OD, ID and length of each casting
Uses forklift to move castings
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma preferred. Must be able to read, write and read a tape measure.
Preferred Skills
Must be able to handle extreme heat
Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds
Ability to drive a forklift required
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to come to work on time each day
CNC MACHINIST
Role and Responsibilities
Set up machine and confirm for accuracy using necessary equipment
Set up machine parts to specification using shop machinery and equipment
Mark and inspect parts as required
Produce parts in a timely manner
Maintain paperwork as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma required. Minimum two (2) years experience required. Must have good mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of set up, operation and programming of CNC lathes required.
Preferred Skills
Must be capable of producing and measuring parts machined per specification in a timely manner
Must possess good math skills
Must have good mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of CNC programming helpful
Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds
Must be able to handle extreme heat
Must be able to come to work on time each day
MACHINIST HELPER
Role and Responsibilities
Maintain inventory of parts ready to machine
Take parts from inventory to machine as needed
Take parts to shipping upon completion of machining
Clean out machinery as required
Keep Machine Shop floor and area clean
Fill out, maintain and submit various paperwork as required
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma required. Good math and mechanical aptitude.
Preferred Skills
Basic math skills required: add, subtract, multiply and divide
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must be able to convert faction dimensions to decimal
Good mechanical aptitude helpful
Must be able to handle extreme heat
Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds
Must be able to come to work on time each day
FURNACE OPERATOR
Role and Responsibilities
Weigh metal and alloys to be melted
Charge scrap metal and alloys into induction furnace
Tap molten metal out of furnace and into ladle
Qualifications and Education Requirements
No Prior Experience Required and High School Graduate Preferred
Preferred Skills
Prior knowledge of foundry operations preferred
Must be able to work in extreme heat
Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds
Must be able to stand on feet up to 10 hrs each day.
Must be able to come to work on time each day.
