Heavy equipment mechanic needed for construction company. We are a civil construction company in the Central Texas area with jobsites across the area. We have a large fleet of mostly CAT equipment, with a few Deere and Komatsu pieces mainly. We also have a variety of miscellaneous equipment such as small engines, trailers, and s small fleet of pickups. This position would be generally a field based position, responsible for responding to service calls on equipment in a service truck. We are needing someone that is journeyman level, owns their own tools, has experience with heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical repairs, and a variety of tasks. Ability to use a torch and welder is helpful. Also prior experience with CAT ET and SIS is a plus but not required. Must pass background check, driving record, and drug screen. Need someone that's independent and doesn't make excuses why they can't come to work, can't do assigned tasks for various reasons, etc. Generally laid back atmosphere.
