Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities
Responsible for the upkeep of 300 Military Family Homes. Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks in the community. Some other tasks the Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include:
Performing routine maintenance around the home such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair and painting.
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Turn over homes from previous tenants to a move in ready home.
Applying preventative measures to the homes to reduce the risk of future problems
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Other maintenance around the village will also be required such as tree trimming and lawn maintenance.
Requirements:
-Must have a clean driving record
-Must not have criminal back ground that will prevent you from getting access to a military installation.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED recommended.
