System One has partnered with a financial institute that is seeking a Real Estate Operations Specialist to join their team on a 9-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting data from coded invoices and revenue checks related to real estate assets, as well as maintaining accounting systems specific to real estate assets and loans/liabilities. You will also verify data entry accuracy, process transactions, and assist with special projects and audits as needed.Responsibilities:
Input data from coded invoices and revenue checks for payment and deposit
Process and review maintenance transactions for real estate assets
Process and review monetary and maintenance transactions for real estate loans/liabilities
Verify data entry accuracy and completeness
Initiate end-of-day process for data file transfer
Assist with special projects and audits
Experience Required:
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in PC and software applications (Word and Excel)
Strong data entry skills, including 10-key touch and typing speed of 40 wpm
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of real estate operations and terminology
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience in data entry or basic accounting
Basic knowledge of FIS and PetroData systems preferred
