Dispatcher / Office Staff – Electrical & Service Company (Laredo, TX)

AC/DC Electrical Service Company is a growing electrical and service contractor expanding across Texas hiring experienced Dispatcher, Office Staff, Field Electricians/Journeymen & Porter for commercial, industrial, and new-home construction projects. . We are looking for a reliable, professional Dispatcher / Office Staff to join our team in San Antonio. This is a key role in keeping our field teams running efficiently and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. We’re looking for pros who take pride in their craft, communicate well, and work safely as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Dispatch and schedule jobs using Housecall Pro (CRM & field service software).

Communicate with field technicians and customers to confirm job details.

Track vehicles and field teams using fleet management software.

Handle bookkeeping tasks including data entry, invoice management, and syncing with QuickBooks.

Maintain accurate job files, permits, and materials tracking spreadsheets.

Assist with dispatching Technicians to assigned project, estimates, work orders, and client proposals.

Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and text.

General office tasks: filing, reports, scheduling meetings, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (Google Sheets/Docs a plus).

Experience with Housecall Pro or other service management platforms preferred.

Basic QuickBooks experience a strong advantage.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience in dispatch, office administration, or bookkeeping is a plus.

Training is available for someone who meets your basic expectations but may need skill development.
