Hurst Blvd., Hurst, TX - OVERVIEW Kelly-Moore Paint Company’s Information Technology department focuses on delivering effective solutions for employees, customers, and vendors. IT is comprised of talented individuals who cohesively drive effective solution strategies within a balanced ecosystem of systems and support. The Applications team focuses on driving system solutions that meet business process needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide the day-to-day application development and support functions, ensuring high-quality IT services and support to Kelly-Moore end users; Meet and exceed all SLA’s. · Provide 2nd level support for assigned business applications. Document all incidents, problems, changes, knowledge items, and configuration items in designated ticketing system; ensure all tickets are current, complete, and up to date. · Manage and maintain “end-to-end” ownership of assigned technologies and services. Work with management to establish and maintain project priorities, communicate project and activity status, and manage service issues. · Manage and maintain assigned IT programs, processes, and documentation. · Work with users to understand and define business requirements for enhancements to applications. Produce specifications of requirements to a level that enables effective delivery of agreed upon changes. Work with technical resources to successfully deliver solutions. · Maintain critical documentation to support applications including training, policies, procedures, etc. · Train users on application, processes, policies, and procedures. · Develop, implement, and report the findings of suitable test plans to measure and ensure the quality of new and amended systems, configurations, packages, or services. Test new software releases/patches and identify potential negative impacts to the System. · Provide support and guidance to end users in the selection, procurement, use, and maintenance of applications. · Participate in on-the-job training and attend classes to keep skill set up to date. · Maintain policies and controls to ensure data integrity, security, and legal/regulatory compliance. · Maintain relationships with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products and monitor/manage results to service agreements. · Escalate issues to management as appropriate for business impact. QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years progressive experience in Applications Support and Information Technology, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Project Management skills with the ability to lead projects, drive for results, and participate effectively on cross functional project teams
Ability to understand business issues, identify opportunities for process improvement and evaluate technology solutions
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and projects
Excellent technical skills, strong analytical and diagnostics skills, and effective problem management skills
Expertise with relevant applications and technologies and related tools and products
Experience in application integration and integration services
Strong oral, written, and overall communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication method, style and frequency to the audience and situation
Motivated self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS:
English language skills of reading comprehension, written and oral English language conventions, and writing applications such as business letter as are ordinarily attained by receiving a high school degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of Computer Science and/or Information Systems theory and application as is typically acquired by attaining a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
In-Depth understanding of the ITIL framework, with certification preferred
Relevant technical and business certifications a plus
An exciting role as an Applications Analyst who will oversee core applications for Kelly-Moore Paints with experience in CRM and BI tools including configuration, collaborative business rule replication within the system(s), UAT and unit/regression testing end to end, and multi-instance management in a DevOps department. Project management with both Agile and Waterfall within applications. SugarCRM and Tableau experience preferred within a multi-application tech stack environment or related relevant applications.
