As Product Managers our focus is to build products that delight developers, and we are comfortable with coding and discussing with developers about the code they write. Help us achieve this vision by building the next generation of developer tools and services that will improve the productivity for millions of C developers!As a Product Manager on our team, you will be working on C experiences across the Visual Studio family of products, and you will be responsible for collaborating closely with customers and our engineering team to drive product innovation through data-driven insights and experimentation. You will get the word out on the latest improvements to the C community through well-written docs, blogs, sample apps and demos. In this role, based on customer feedback and market trends, you will define a roadmap and go-to-market plans for upcoming product releases. You will need to understand customer pain points in using the product and communicate effectively across organizations and development teams. Your role will require making choices and trade-offs around app development and previous experience in developer technologies will be a plus.This is a fun team to be a part of, working on tools that are loved by millions of developers. Looking forward to hearing from you!DDJDDevDivResponsibilitiesHere’s what you will do AND learn to be successful in this role:Conduct market and customer research to identify potential investment and partnership opportunities in the developer space

Closely partner with engineering teams to design and deliver features based on customer feedback

Engage deeply with early adopters and potential customers to validate the product or early prototypes and bring insights back into product development

Evangelize the new product offerings to customers through demos, documentation, and other collateral to increase adoption

Be the key contact and advocate for critical internal and external partners

Measure our customer reach and provide data-driven insights into where the team should focus their efforts

Create a product vision, roadmaps, and drive product announcements

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Computer science/engineering degree

Interest/familiarity with C and empathy for developers

Comfortable with coding demos, hands-on coding experience and/or discussing with developers about the code they write

The salary range for this role in Colorado is from $115,700 to 173,000.At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
