We are currently searching for reliable and qualified RAPID Crisis Stabilization LVN'S!Job scope : The LVN serves as a clinical member of Rapid Crisis Stabilization Unit treatment team. The LVN is responsible for using the nursing process to meet the needs of clients according to the professional standards of nursing care. The LVN demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution. The LVN assists in the clinical care of individuals that are served in the RCSU. Duties include, but are not limited to, medication administration and documentation of nursing activities in accordance with Community Healthcore procedures and nursing standards. Assists with transport of clients to their home or other locations as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience/Knowledge: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, which promote increased self-awareness and autonomous functioning in the community Basic knowledge of human personality development and communication skills Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team Demonstrate knowledge and applied competency vital signs and medication regimens. Ability to accept direction and make constructive use of professional and clinical supervision Be able to develop knowledge of major classes of psychotropic medications and the behavioral signs of medication side effects. Possess organizational and time management skills. Possess effective communication skills. Ability to work autonomously; be self-motivated Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job: Ability to exercise self-control in potentially volatile situations; must respond quickly and effectively. Must be able to work and concentrate amidst distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic. Must be flexible and able to complete multi-tasks without overwhelming frustrations. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp and display accurate perception of objects (size, shape, temperature, texture. Must be able to perceive detailed information through written and oral communication. Position requires carrying of charts and assisting with patients (up to 50 lbs.). Must be able to verbalize information and respond to complaints. Must have minimum standard of visual acuity with or without correction that enables completion of tasks/duties and visual observation of clients. Must be able to attend meetings. Must have endurance to work an average 12-hour day. Must be physically able to complete Handle With Care (HWC), CPR and First Aid. Must demonstrate competence in required skills.
