Job Description
Vogue College of Cosmetology is looking for an Educator. With five locations in Texas and New Mexico, we strive to provide the best education in the industry by ensuring every student receives consistent high quality training. In this role at our Lubbock campus, you will help ensure our students receive quality education that encourages our students to reach their fullest potential by meeting or exceeding our educational standards.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Texas Cosmetology School license procedures
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrates leadership skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the public
Passion for intense focus on student learning and student success
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new programs to serve the needs of the college and the community
Ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
Management experience a plus
Education and Training
High School Diploma
Active Texas Cosmetology/Nail Technician/Esthetician license
Active Texas Cosmetology Instructor license
Teaching experience at a cosmetology school
Experience in a private, postsecondary vocational educational environment or salon a plus
Work Environment
Candidate must be able to conduct duties in a school environment, work under a degree of stress related to duties that require constant attention and meeting deadlines, and operate standard office equipment, including use of computer, monitor, telephone, and related equipment. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Pay will be commensurate with education and experience. We have excellent benefits, vacation time, staff development and educational opportunities.
