Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.The job of a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer is a highly specialized position which involves all aspects of echo imaging of patients with known or suspected congenital or acquired heart disease. This primary pediatric position will include imaging a broad range of patient ages and sizes using all available ultrasound imaging modalities. Patient exam types will include the range of fetal, neonatal, childhood, adolescent, and adult patients. Provision of services will involve inpatient and outpatient examinations. Inpatient evaluations will include all available modalities including: transthoracic. Outpatient evaluations will include transthoracic, and vascular studies.Please note the following important details regarding this role:

Required qualifications:
Graduate from a formal approved and accredited Cardiac Sonographer program.
Coursework/Training and 12 months of training/ evaluation will be required for pediatric cardiology studies concurrently or successively at the discretion of the Medical Director of the Pediatric Echo Lab.
Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Within 2 years of hire Active registration and certification in Adult echo, Pediatric echo and vascular (preferably all 3)
