Qualifications
Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization, and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
Fits and welds subassemblies into final position with flat or horizontal welds
Performs flat and horizontal welding
Basic oxyfuel and/or carbon arcing
Able to final inspect welds
Able to do basic Layouts
Understand and follow oral and written directions
Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
Ability to work with others
Ability to work safely and accurately
Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace
Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal

Responsibilities
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Saturday as required)
Follow all company safety and quality requirements
Qualified in welding disciplines required for the facility
Requires minimal help from supervisor on new tasks
Shows initiative to recognize areas of opportunity within current standard procedures
Maintains technical qualifications required for positions
Prompt and dependable attendance
Other duties as assigned
