General laborer/Assistant Operator in training
Monday Through Friday
starting $11 per hour up to $14 after probation
1st and second shift
Work scope includes working with power and hand tools, physical lifting of 55 lbs., plant housekeeping duties, understanding of process quality criteria, accurate record keeping skills, operate a molding press for production purposes, perform secondary operations on parts and assemblies, ability to work independently in a team striving for a common goal.
The job may likely include company-trained skills of forklift driving, assistance with tool changeovers, mold maintenance, minor press setup operations, packaging/shipping preparation, personal protective equipment, MSDS and other safe work practices.
The candidate is required to speak, read, and write English proficiently, arrive to work on time, be willing to work in a hot environment, and bring a positive attitude to the workplace. Overtime may be required based on the production schedule.
