Onin Staffing is currently recruiting for a Sanitation Lead for the greater McAllen area.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for documenting cleaning and sanitizing procedures for food contact and nonfood contact surfaces, train staff of sanitation basics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand all aspects of sanitation processes and requirements
- Lead and organize all sanitations requirements
- Keep buildings, grounds, and equipment in clean and orderly condition
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors with brooms, scrubber machines, scrapers, mops, squeegees, or compressed air
- Maintain cleanliness of walls and doors using scrub brushes, scrapers, squeegees, hand towels, and pressure washers.
- Conduct bi-weekly safety tailgate trainings
- Document and maintain sanitation logs
- Perform other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma / GED preferred
- Ability to be flexible with hours
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Office
- Read and understand chemical labels
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Forklift / Scissor Lift experience (Preferred)
