Solo practicing attorney in the Rio Grande Valley with a swiftly growing docket in both state and federal courts. Over 300 active cases - 10-20 that require solid motion practice. Need someone to help prepare pleadings pleas and motions and answer and respond to discovery.
I have two local employees who can assist with a lot of the tedious necessities but are not qualified for motion practice. My law firm is in the Rio Grande Valley - my entire firm is of course web-based, I currently use CosmoLex (similar to Cleo) as my law practice management software; but can be migrated to another if suitable. If you're local there is a full time position available.
If you are remote it's as much work as you can handle, but tell how much you can handle. In house paralegal and law office manager gets a starting salary of $50,000 plus bonuses. For remote motion practice and case management, willing to pay an independent contractor at a billable rate of $20.00 per hour, with a 3-5 day turnover upon receipt of invoice along with agreed work product. Bonuses negotiable.
