Key Responsibilities:

2. Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments for technicians to visit customers' homes or businesses. Coordinate with the service team to ensure efficient routing and time management.

3. Technical Assistance: Offer basic troubleshooting advice to customers over the phone or via email. When possible, assist customers in resolving simple issues without the need for a service call.

4. Service Coordination: Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure that customer service requests are handled promptly and effectively.

5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints. Update customer accounts with relevant information as necessary.

6. Billing and Payments: Assist customers with billing questions and process payments for services rendered. Inform customers of any outstanding balances or account issues.

7. Sales Support: Provide information about additional services and products, such as maintenance agreements or system upgrades, and assist with sales as appropriate.

8. Feedback Collection: Collect and report customer feedback to management, focusing on customer satisfaction and potential areas for service improvement.

9. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction. Escalate complex issues to management when necessary.

10. Knowledge Maintenance: Stay informed about the latest developments in HVAC technology and company services to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some companies may prefer candidates with post-secondary education or HVAC certification.

- Previous experience in customer service, especially in the HVAC or a related industry, is preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and terminology.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficiency with computers and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

- Ability to stay calm under pressure and courteous to customers.

- Typically works in an office environment.

- May require sitting for extended periods.

- May involve occasional overtime during peak seasons.
