Parts Clerk Job Description
Position Title: Parts Clerk
Location: Edinburg
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
The Parts Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies used in production, repair, or maintenance operations. This position ensures all parts are accurately logged, labeled, and distributed to the proper departments in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of parts and materials.
Organize and maintain stockroom and parts inventory.
Issue parts to maintenance and production personnel as requested.
Maintain accurate records of parts usage and inventory levels.
Perform data entry into inventory management systems.
Prepare purchase orders or requests for parts replenishment.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
Ensure all parts are labeled, stored, and handled properly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments as needed.
Requirements:
21 and older
Previous experience in auto industry y
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
