Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate laboratory activities and operations
- Oversee a team of laboratory technicians
- Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct scientific research and experiments as needed
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and spectroscopy instruments
- Fabricate, test, and analyze samples using various techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations
- Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment
All other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field
- Proven experience working in a laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
