Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Video Producer in Missouri City, Texas. This role centers around coordinating television and audiovisual production for a government access channel. The position involves contributing to the enhancement of the city's brand through public relations methods and media coverage.Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage television and audiovisual production activities. Produce, write, and edit content for municipal programming and special events. Assist with pre-production planning and post-production tasks. Maintain and manage audio/visual, recording, and production equipment. Serve as a videographer, photographer, and content specialist during emergencies and major events. Identify opportunities for contract agreements. Design and produce graphic materials for city events, news, and programs. Handle filming and editing of all videos and photography for the city's social media platforms. Utilize software such as Final Cut Pro X, HTML Coding, Garage Band, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Suite for various tasks. Drone license is a PLUS!Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Producer role or similar capacity Proficiency in Videography and Photography is essential Demonstrated experience in Brand Building and Corporate Social Media Strong understanding of Public Relations principles Proficiency in Video Content creation, Video Editing, Video Production, and conducting Video Shoots Graphic Design skills are highly desirable Knowledge of Apple Macintosh systems and software Experience with Drone Photography is beneficial Proficiency in Final Cut Pro software HTML knowledge is advantageous Experience with Adobe InDesign software is preferred Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment High degree of creativity and problem-solving ability Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.Innovation starts with people.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
