Key Responsibilities:

The Modern Computing Solutions Group team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms and applications (On Premise and Cloud hosted) - all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

You will:

• Gather business requirements and participates in product definition and feature prioritization, including customer usability studies.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software
• Lead in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance of software products.
• Work with the team to develop, maintain, and communicate current development schedules, timelines and development status.

Essential Requirements:

• Requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Java 8 & above, Spring MVC, Kafka, & RESTful Micro Services Development
• Exceptional proficiency in Multi-threading, Caching technology like Memcache, experience in SQL/NoSQL database
• Experience implementing test-driven development and hands on with Junit cases
• Extensive knowledge on Microservices Architecture

Desirable Requirements:

• Exposure to developing software for managing devices like PCs & Notebooks.
