The HT Group is currently hiring Warehouse Associates for our client in San Marcos, TX.The ideal candidate needs to have sitting forklift experience (experience with a standing forklift as well is preferred) and should be comfortable handling a variety of duties such as picking and packing, pallitizing product, assisting with cycle counts and doing some light data entry. This is a physically intensive role and applicants should be comfortable lifting 40-50 lbs at a time. Position: Warehouse AssociateType: Temp-to-hireSchedule: M-F 8:30 AM - 5:30 PMPay: $13.50 phPrimary Duties of the Warehouse Associate:Inform warehouse management of any issues preventing the on time delivery or processing of outbound shipments.Load and unload shipments using forklift and or pallet jack.Process, assemble and transport heating cable according to customer requirements.Cut cable to specifications and label accordingly.Move stock to appropriate warehouse locations, manually lifting up to 50 pounds or using forklift when necessary.Use a picking list to locate, package and arrange materials for shipment and package to limit damage during transit.Building and labeling kits for outbound orders.Empty trash receptacles as required including recycled cardboard.Assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory as required.Process shipments at the shipping workstation.Assist in the stocking of inbound materials and posting transfer journals.Requirements of the Warehouse Associate:Able to perform in a fast-paced, physically intensive work environmentAbility to lift 50 pounds.Stand for long periods of time.At least two years of previous warehouse pick and pack experience.Experience in operating a Forklift (sitting) and Easy Reach (standing forklift).High School Diploma
