Therole requires you to be self-supporting and includes on-site maintenance,performing system diagnostics & analysis, troubleshooting problems,installing new systems & replacing parts.18-month HoneywellTraining & Certification Program: Commitment of 18 months to obtain and maintain L3 CEAT certification while performing normal job duties.Compensation:Our current Field Service Technicians earn between (85-100k) which includes hourly pay + Overtime (1.5 x hourly rate) Work& Travel Schedule:Typical work week is Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm) with ability to work overtime when needed.Be available for off hour “Emergency On-Call” as needed. Depending on the service requirements for a particular customer or region, this position may require significant travel as well as overnight travel The territory for this role is the Midland and Odessa TX areaCompanyVehicle / Travel Expenses:Company vehicle is provided - Must have valid driver’s license. Corporate Travel card will be offered to pay for expenses (No expenses come out of your pocket)IdealCandidate:Commitment of 18 month to Honeywell Training & Certification Program while performing normal job duties. 1+ year prior field service experience in supporting technical or engineering services or Military experience in electronics programs may be considered equivalent to this typical qualificationBasic understanding of networking and electrical theory1+ years of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience working with Operator HMI (Panels & Touchscreens) Strong written and verbal communication skills must be able to clearly articulate messages both technical and non-technical.Ability to be self-motivated and willingness to work in demanding environments with little or no supervision and take initiative to be proactive.Ability to diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance using electrical test equipmentExperience or knowledge reading electrical drawings and utilize for troubleshooting electrical systems As a Field Service Technician, you will:Maintain Honeywell’s suite of (DCS) quality control hardware and software and handle customer questions about the state of the system.Sustain proficiency in all products and services that the company offers. This includes staying current with installation standard methodologies, equipment protocol, and safety guidelines.Provide on-site pre-start-up, start-up, contracted service work, warranty, troubleshooting, and training of Honeywell products, and ensure equipment is operational and free of defects.Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility and/or project staging area. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasksHandle customer service-related issues while fostering the customer relationship and working to solve technical problems on site. Deal directly with and communicate effectively with plant operators, plant management, 3rd party vendors and other Honeywell personnel in support of service operationsTroubleshoot and repair equipment applying own technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems. Accurately document the work that is performed at a customer facility and/or project staging area. Professionally document work completed on periodic preventive maintenance as well as intermittent corrective maintenance tasksReview product prints and specifications.When required, play an active role in various projects such as upgrades, new installations, or new functionality for customersWork with contractors to review and ensure the unit/package is installed to specifications.Coordinate work with other groups to ensure meeting commitmentsYOU MUST HAVE1 year of professional experience in an engineering or technical field/and or Military experience in electronics programs may be considered equivalent to this typical qualification.Valid driver's licenseAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Must be able to walk and stand 8 hours per day.1 year of experience using Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office applicationsBe able to perform frequent climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.Engineering or technical fields may include field service,technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavymanufacturing, prior military experience, development and/or reliabilityengineering, etc.WE VALUEHigh School Diploma VeteransBachelor’s Degree in science, Technology,Engineering or MathAssociates Degree in Industrial Engineering or TechnologyAbility to work safely within the Honeywell/Customer HSE requirements.Commitment to obtain and maintain L3 CEAT certification within 18 months of hire (Training is given to achieve this)Experience with industrial process control field instrumentationNetworking experiencePrevious experience working in a Field Service Technician positionPrevious technical/installation experiencePrevious customer service experienceCritical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problemsAPPLY NOW
