We are looking for experienced safety managers for work at a utility-scale solar farm for a 12-month project with possible work outside Texas after the project ends. Duties include:
- Support and promote general safety policies and procedures in compliance with all regulations
- Inspect site daily for potential hazards and work with management to address
- Maintain required documentation of safety issues, accident reports, and training logs
- Conduct on-the-spot trainings as needed, as well as toolbox talks
- Compile and submit accident reports to safety and management teams
- Maintain field presence to monitor safety performance
Job Requirements include but are not limited to:
- 3-5 years experience
- OSHA 500/510
- CPR/First Aid/CHST preferred
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
Punctuality and promptness are required every day. Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA-compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
Requirements: Recent verifiable work history, references complete with names and numbers. Upon conditional offer of assignment, please provide documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States (You may review a list of acceptable documents on the USCIS website) and your OSHA 10 Certification.
