Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Location: Monahans, TX (moving facility to Odessa, TX)
Schedule: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (open for discussion)
Hours: 40-45 per week (occasional weekend work)
Compensation: $25–$27 per hour (depending on experience)

Overview
An established and growing industrial services company is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support daily warehouse and logistics operations at our facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring materials and equipment are received, organized, and distributed accurately and efficiently to support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and safety are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
Prepare and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company and customer specifications.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all materials are properly tagged, labeled, and stored.
Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and vendors to ensure timely material deliveries.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
Keep the warehouse, yard, and shipping/receiving areas organized and clean.
Support procurement and logistics teams with material tracking, data entry, and documentation.
Utilize ERP or inventory software systems for receiving, tracking, and reconciliation.
Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
Use company shop truck for local deliveries and pickups as needed (non-CDL).
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Minimum experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; ERP or inventory systems experience preferred).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work.
Additional Details
Company Vehicle: Shop truck available for company use only
Work Location: Position is based on-site at the facility.
Schedule Flexibility: Occasional weekend may be required based on project needs.
Travel: No long-haul or overnight travel required.
MVR: must hold a current driver's license and be able to pass an MVR.
Criminal Background: must be able to pass a background check.
