== Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to assist in basic electrical construction tasks on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical systems, safety practices, and construction site protocols. This role is well-suited for those looking to gain experience in the electrical construction field or seeking short-term employment.
Position: Basic Electrical Construction Worker (Temporary)
Location: Stanton, TX
Duration: Temporary (Length of Assignment: 4-5 months)
Work Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday
Compensation: $30/hr
== Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of electrical systems in a commercial setting.
- Support electricians in laying wiring, mounting electrical panels, and connecting devices.
- Run and pull electrical cables and conduit as instructed.
- Maintain work area cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Carry and handle tools, materials, and equipment required for electrical tasks.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems under supervision.
- Follow safety guidelines to prevent electrical hazards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues.
- Support the team with other general construction duties as needed.
== Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and construction tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Previous experience in construction or electrical work – 3 or 4 years preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments (standing, climbing ladders, etc.).
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety standards and practices.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on different types of job sites.
- English speaking is preferred but not required.
