Position: Sr Android & iOS Developer (Must have both Android and iOS experience)
Location: Plano, TX (Remote working not allowed)
Duration: Contract
Requirements:
Responsibilities
Design and build iOS and Android mobile applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features
Fully responsible for mobile app development in the team
Build and publish applications in app stores
Implement new technologies to maximize application performance
Requires fluency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C
Code, test, debug, monitor and document changes for apps
Know the development environment of Android and iOS operating systems
Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
Keep constantly up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps
Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
Work closely with other departments to constantly innovate app functionality and design
Should be able to audit others code
provide best practices to team
Job Requirements
Android:
At least 4 years of hands-on Android Application development experience.
At least 3 years of experience with Java development
At least 3 years of experience with Restful web-services
At least 1 year experience in agile development
Good knowledge of relational and non-relational Database
Good understanding of OOP concepts and application design patterns
Experience with application architecture and design
Experience with Android application UI development (Activities, Layouts, Fragments, Action-Bar, Transitions)
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience leading a development team will be plus.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Experience in Kotlin based app development is a plus
iOS:
At least 4 years of hands-on iOS application development experience.
At least 3 years of experience using Objective C for iOS development.
At least 2 years of experience using Swift for iOS development.
At least 3 years of experience with Restful web-services.
At least 1 year experience in agile development.
Experience in development tools like Xcode, Instruments, Cocoapods, Carthage, Cocoa Touch etc.
Good knowledge of relational and non-relational Database.
Good understanding of OOPs concepts and application design patterns.
Experience with application architecture and design.
Good understanding of Cloud based services.
Knowledge of iPod Accessory Protocol (iAP), BT and BLE protocols
Experience with iOS application UI development (Storyboards, Auto-layouts, Size classes), Dynamic Framework etc.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience leading a development team will be plus.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Very good experience with Swift, Objective-C and iOS SDK
Experience with memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices
Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
