The Azure Data Engineer will be a key member of the Data Management team. The focus of this position will be as a team member for the development and support of the enterprise data warehouse (EDW). The position will focus on data the pipeline workflows and ensuring a stable ETL framework in our Azure environment. The position will work with the Data Management team to transform business requirements into a fully functioning system.

• Design and implement data solutions using industry best practices
• Learn and understand business processes with limited guidance
• Work collaboratively as a member of the data management team to build best-in-class software solutions in an agile environment
• Support and research issues across all application layers and database
• You will identify areas to improve and scale our Azure architecture and application design
• Ensure code can be deployed using Azure DevOps
• Design and query database tables, views, functions, stored procedures and batch processes
• Design complex data pipelines

• Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations
• Minimum of 5 years of Data Warehousing experience
• Experience implementing data pipelines using latest technologies and techniques
• Experience Azure DevOps and Git for source control
• 5+ years of consulting or client service delivery experience on Azure
• Bachelor' s or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience handling Structured and unstructured datasets
• Expert in SQL, Java, Azure Data Factory, C#, Node.js, PowerShell
• Expert with T-SQL skills with experience in Azure SQL DW
• Experience in Data Modeling and Advanced SQL techniques
• Cloud migration methodologies and processes including tools like Azure Data Factory
• Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
