Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the Service industry, based in Richardson, Texas. As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing leadership in the accounting process. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide leadership for the month-end and year-end accounting close process. Guarantee timely and precise financial reporting. Assist with the financial integration of an acquisition. Collaborate effectively with the acquisition team and leaders from various departments. Utilize QuickBooks expertise in handling financial matters. Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Maintain and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Keep accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts. Take appropriate action based on customer account monitoring. Resolve customer inquiries professionally and promptly. Requirements Must possess a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification. Proven experience in Controllership is necessary. Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management and operations. Demonstrated experience in managing Month End Close processes. Familiarity with Paylocity software for payroll and HR services. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic service industry environment. Demonstrated ability to strategize and implement financial procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
