Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer/SRE for one of our largest financial clients, sitting onsite five days per week in Richarson, TX. They are seeking skilled backend DevOps Engineer who has experience configuring and building out infrastructure and is comfortable with technical system architectures. Engineers working in this role are constantly trying to improve system reliability, speed, and supportability of the internet facing infrastructure. While this is not a heavy development role, engineers that perform it today are excellent at building out automation to deploy and manage infrastructure using shell scripting and languages like Python. This is a role for someone with a passion for building reliable, performant, and supportable scaled infrastructure.Skills and RequirementsExperience with Software Development in a Linux environment, Shell scripting, PythonExperience with any of these tools: Github, TerraformExperience with log aggregation (Splunk, ELK, etc)Familiarity with high-scale NoSQL solutions like MongoDBKnowledge of firewalls and networking fundamentals Experience managing Kafka as messaging middlewareUnderstanding of principles of Continuous Delivery, Devops and SREExperience managing SOA or microservice architecturesFintech experienceCloud infrastructure expertise, preferably AWSExperience with any of these Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
