The Proposal Drafter is responsible for creating and editing any new or prior technical proposal for clients from sales opportunities. This position will be involved with the initial requirements/definition stage, to then involved with Q&A, and then formulating high-complex technician proposals.

What You'll Do -

• Draft and design technical proposals ranging from a sales meeting to a design and information-producing packets.
• Review sales opportunities
• Review documents from sales teams
• Sit in with customer service and post-proposal calls
• Work with sales manager to draft and develop ideas from sales meetings
• Review and edit existing proposals, sometimes adding industry-jargon, terminologies, or any contextures
• Work with project management teams in sales initiatives

Requirements -

• Bachelors Degree
• 3+ years in proposal creation and drafting
• Ability to input sales information and other data into full-fledged proposal
• Demonstrate capability to pick up subject matter one is not familiar with
• Elaborate in writing via proposal, things you are familiar with
• Proficient with various word styles - margins, spacing, header/footers, etc
• Preferred : Experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Federal Acquisitions Requirements (FAR)
• The EMC Industry
