RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking a full-time Puppet Engineer to remotely support our enterprise technology client based in Austin TX. This need is being driven by a desire to migrate from the Enterprise version to Open Source version of Puppet configuration management software.
Responsibilities:
Puppet Engineer will implement system architecture and automation solutions as deigned
Implement, maintain within Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
Deliver end-to-end migration of Puppet Enterprise to Puppet Open Source
Advise project manager of project milestone achievements and R/Y/G status
As a Puppet Engineer, you will participate in Governance for project reporting
Collaborate with identified customer contact and team during implementation
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
Strong knowledge of cloud environments
Knowledge in infrastructure automation tools
Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience with working in an Agile delivery environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
