Inside Sales Product Specialist - Round Rock, TX

The CSG (Client Solutions Group) Inside Sales Product Specialist is responsible for providing solutions of Dell Client Solution products. These products include both fixed and mobile workstations, Dell 2 in 1s, Dell Services and Dell Ruggedized notebooks along with the Ecosystem around them. The main responsibility of the CSG Inside Sales Specialist will be to sell products and solutions that address a wide range of end user system needs as well as establishing and enhancing prospective and present customer relationships by partnering with inside sales account managers to provide the best possible end user solutions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provides product or BU specific expertise.

  • May own account sets and/ or be called into accounts as opportunities are identified.

  • Acts as a technical resource to support the sales organization to meet and/or exceed their objectives.

  • Identifies customer needs/ requirements, and recommends the appropriate products and solutions.

  • Provides pre-sales technical support during the sales process

  • Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings.

  • Stays current on industry and vertical solutions as well.

  • Assists in the on-going technical education and development of the broader team.

  • Promotes and positions key strategic product and service offerings.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically

  • Active listening skills

  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status

Preferences

  • 1+ years of sales or customer service experience

  • Technical level knowledge of workstation and computing technologies
