I am looking for a team member who wants to be a part of a growing firm.
Right now it is only me.
The focus is tax work, but many of my clients are needing bookkeeping services.
There are 2 parts to this job:
(1) Most importantly, you will be doing bookkeeping for small business clients, mostly sole proprietors, small S-corps, and Small partnerships.
(2) You will help me in administrating and growing the company.
Ultimately, this role will be person #1 in a company that will likely have 5-10 employees in the future.
Requirements:
(1) Must be QuickBooks Online and Desktop Certified
(2) Must have 5 or more years of Bookkeeping or Controller experience.
(3) You must be able to show proficiency at handling the books for multiple companies and have the competency to do cleanup on a company with inadequate books.
(4) The role will be hybrid, with the expectation that we will meet 2-5 times weekly, at least in the beginning. Less later, mostly remote after a few months. Must have your own transportation.
(5) Prefer a person with a 2 year or 4 year accounting degree.
