Family in San Antonio searching for experienced professional child care for 14 month child Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 6:30pm plus occasional nights and weekends.
The ideal candidate is certified in child CPR and first aide, organized, creative, educated & experienced in child development, willing to get onto the floor for playtime, enjoy the company of a newly walking toddler and willing to engage in various projects and free play.
Both parents work from home, so candidate must be comfortable working with the family dynamics of a busy household that also includes 3 dogs.
Reliability, punctuality, longevity with the family, ability to follow a schedule & excellent communication skills a must.
An average afternoon will include feeding snacks and meals, playtime, reading, art projects, teaching life skills, and engaging with the family. At the end of each day all toys should be organized as well as clean up of any projects or meals.
You must be able to manage the changing moods of a young child with diversion, kindness and patience.
