Pharmacy Technician Instructor Position at Southside Vocational School:
Qualifications include being a licensed Pharmacy Technician, at least 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, and having a positive can do attitude.
Responsibilities will include:
Teach courses related to pharmacy technician programs, including pharmacology, medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, drug classification, and pharmacy law.
Develop and deliver engaging lectures, practical lab demonstrations, and interactive learning activities.
Assess student performance through exams, assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments.
Provide individual academic support to students, mentoring them in both theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting the pharmacy profession.
Participate in curriculum development and review processes to ensure program quality and integrity.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
