Job summary
Work collaboratively with all plant and corporate teams using Company's System knowledge of principles to transform towards Manufacturing and Process Excellence. Continually identify and support opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, inventory turns and cost; streamline activities, improve resource utilization, reduce environmental impact. Provide instruction and guidance to teams on Lean principles, Toyota Production System and applicable Best Practices.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance in troubleshooting paint process including tools, machines, materials and related processes.
Responsible for the implementation of improvement projects designed to reduce total product cost, improve product quality, and reduce process cycle times in the process.
Coordinate, schedule, track, and oversee regular maintenance and servicing of equipment, working collaboratively with the plant engineering and maintenance support group.
Establish constant cycles, standardize procedures, and reduce variation between and within set-ups for improvement
Conduct processing tests to validate the product and document the results.
Ensure that changes will result in an optically and cosmetically acceptable product.
Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected.
Qualifications Physical Demands
" Must possess good verbal and written skills – Minimal conversational English
Must possess Bachelor in Engineering
Must be able to use English and Metric systems
Must have manufacturing or similar experience
Must be able to read and report in detail information
Must possess interpersonal skills; take direction, work in team environment and instruct.
Self-motivated and capable to perform essential job tasks with minimal supervision and/or outside assistance.
Strong user experience in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be flexible for Shift Rotation and be able to work overtime" " Must be able to lift 50lbs or more at any given time throughout the day.
Job requires stooping, bending, and crouching at any given time throughout the day.
Standing for long periods of time.
Climbing on ladders, platforms, or mezzanine at any given times throughout the day.
