Job Description
As a Business Enablement Leader(Head of Portfolio Management), you would:
Lead and successfully implement IT transformation initiatives by leveraging institutional knowledge, business acumen, technology experience, and networks across the organization
Manage the optimal prioritization of technology solutions in alignment with company values and strategic priorities to help drive significant business and product initiatives
Coach a team to act as strategic partners that prioritize communication, collaboration, and the ability to align business goals with technology best practices
Overcome obstacles and teach others how to identify assumed constraints, technology gaps, or opportunities for process improvements
Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
To be successful you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related field
6+ years of experience in a problem-solving function with demonstrated experience in setting the portfolio strategy for and the execution of projects with an organization-wide impact
Proven ability to consider and understand business issues and concepts
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to work in San Antonio, or travel to San Antonio as needed
An exceptional candidate might have:
Experience managing a large IT portfolio or leading a group of portfolio managers and/or a project management department
Experience working with Microsoft Teams, Office 365, or similar product suites
Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), and/or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) Certifications
Lean Six Sigma Certifications
Change Management Professional (PROSCI) Certification
