Job Details:
Position: Sr. Cloud/Data Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX (Remote but occasional onsite required)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business unit IT teams to discuss, gather, and document analytics solution requirements.
Partner with IT Infrastructure team architects to define, acquire, and deploy cloud services required for a given cloud analytics solution.
Partner with cloud service providers on cloud capabilities for MPC.
Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing data & analytics solutions ingested from multiple source systems.
Day-to-day management and support for analytics platforms to ensure availability and optimal performance.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills needed to function effectively as a member of the team.
Exhibit customer focus while interfacing with business partners.
Work on other reporting and business intelligence related tasks as necessary.
Required Skills:
Need 11+ years of experience into IT and 8+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse developer/Data Engineer in developing analytics solutions
Developing Modern Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Stack (Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
Expert level understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture, and Modelling
Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience working with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and various services applicable to analytics workloads
Working experience with BI Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau
Hands on working experience with DevOps, Agile, Scrum methodologies as it relates to analytics solution development
