We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and satisfied throughout their visit.
Duties
Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
Deliver food and beverages promptly to tables while maintaining a high level of service.
Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Sanitate work areas, utensils, and dining equipment
according to health and safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while following restaurant policies.
Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences and dietary needs.
Skills
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
Familiarity with kitchen operations to communicate effectively with culinary staff.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain health standards in food service.
Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or similar platforms, for order entry and payment processing.
Experience in bussing tables to assist with maintaining a clean dining environment.
Basic math skills for handling
Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred but not required.
