Dishwasher / Pot Washer Position (Evening Shift Only)
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher for our evening shift. This position is integral to our kitchen operations, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation at all times. In-person interviews are a must and are conducted daily—we look forward to hearing from you!
Responsibilities
Maintain Cleanliness & Sanitation
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized dish station, kitchen, and storage areas.
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals.
Support Kitchen Operations
Ensure dishware and utensils are readily available for kitchen staff.
Assist with trash and recycling disposal, as well as cleaning floors and kitchen equipment as needed.
Work cohesively with the front of house & kitchen team to meet service needs.
Adhere to Safety & Hygiene Standards
Comply with all food safety regulations (including proper food handling, if applicable).
Maintain the proper temperature for dishwashing and sanitizing.
Be diligent about personal safety and the safety of others by following instructions and guidelines.
Assist as Needed
Help other team members with tasks when necessary.
Perform additional cleaning or organizational duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Food Handler’s Certification (required by city)
Viable Transportation
Must be able to consistently arrive for evening shifts.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for 6+ hours per day.
Ability and willingness to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach.
Teamwork & Communication
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Resourceful, dependable, and accountable.
Flexibility
Willing to work evenings, weekends and Sunday holidays as needed.
Common Sense & Cooperation
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Builds and maintains cooperative working relationships.
