This position maintains a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation while executing all tickets in a timely manner. Also perform final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of hot/cold food items. This is an evening position only.
Responsibilities
Responsible for consistency and quality product and ensure all food is served according to specification
Prepares food for employees and special events as instructed by management
Uses proper technique to taste prepared food to ensure quality taste and palatability
Maintains the proper temperature of food during preparation and service.
Assist other team members as needed.
Performs assigned cleaning assignments and utilize the proper cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications
Food handler's certification
Ability to remain active, including standing for 8+ hours per day
Ability and willingness to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs
Ability and willingness to bend, stretch and reach
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Builds and maintains cooperative working relationships
Resourceful, dependable and accountable
Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays
