Bar and Restaurant Manager
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Bar and Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our establishment. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of both bar and restaurant areas, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Hire, train, and manage front-of-house and bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Develop schedules and manage labor costs in line with business needs.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations.
Handle customer concerns and feedback with professionalism.
Work with ownership to develop and execute promotions, events, and marketing strategies.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of all guest-facing areas.
Monitor financial performance and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Qualifications:
3+ years of management experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of hospitality service standards and best practices.
Knowledge of inventory management and basic financial reporting.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
TABC certification (or local equivalent) and food safety certification preferred.
